Hey everyone, it’s been a while since the last update so I wanted to share what’s been happening with the game. Progress has been a bit slow but I’m still working on it. Here’s what’s changed and what to expect moving forward.

Character Design Tweaks

I’ve adjusted a few character designs—nothing too drastic, just small details to improve their fit with the overall vibe. Some facial expressions weren’t quite right before, so I fixed them to feel more natural. A few characters also received minor hairstyles or color changes to better match their personalities.

Improved Visuals & Scenes

Some scenes felt a little off, either too empty or not capturing the mood I wanted. So, I’ve added more details, adjusted lighting in key moments, and improved a few backgrounds to make everything feel more immersive. Hopefully, it helps bring out the atmosphere I was aiming for.

Dialogue Adjustments

I went back and refined a lot of the dialogue to sound more natural. Some conversations felt too stiff or rushed, so I expanded them a bit while making sure they stayed true to the characters. If you liked MC’s sarcastic and unmotivated personality, I made sure to keep that more consistent throughout.

Story Refinements

The core story is still the same, but I’ve made a few adjustments to improve the pacing. I also added a bit more foreshadowing in certain parts to make later twists hit harder. Nothing major, but these little changes should make everything flow better.

Why Progress Has Been Slow

Honestly, life’s been keeping me busy, so I haven’t had as much time to work on the game as I’d like. On top of that, I’m still learning how to properly use Koikatsu for scene creation, so there’s a lot of trial and error involved. But I’m still pushing forward whenever I get the chance.

Alpha 2 Release Plans

I’ll be releasing Alpha 2, but I won’t be removing Alpha 1. If you want to compare versions or just revisit the original build, you’ll still be able to. Alpha 2 will include updated visuals, improved character designs, refined dialogue, and some adjustments to the story flow.
